We meet next on Wednesday, March. 27, 7 p.m. to discuss Waking Lions, by contemporary Israeli novelist Ayelet Gundar-Goshen, which begins with a accidental moment that leads to layers of moral complexity and suspense. The story unfolds in a uniquely Israeli setting but deals with universal moral dilemmas of social and personal justice, refugees and giving refuge.
A copy is in our library.
